Soundtrack On Double LP Featuring Glenn Miller, Fats Domino, Jerry Vale, and More!
Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman was one of the most anticipated films of 2019, exploring a mob hitman’s possible involvement in the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa. The film stars Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Joe Pesci.
The soundtrack features a carefully curated selection of songs from the 1950s, assembled by Martin Scorsese and music supervisor Randall Poster as a sonic companion to the film’s sweeping story of organized crime in postwar America.
As part of the film’s storytelling, the soundtrack includes many of the era’s defining recordings from artists including Johnnie Ray, Jerry Vale, Jackie Gleason, Fats Domino, Glenn Miller, and more.
Legendary guitarist and composer Robbie Robertson of The Band contributed the original composition "Theme For The Irishman."
