Nightmare Productions, designed by Reiner Knizia, is an auction-driven game where players compete to produce the best monster movies. By bidding on key production elements such as creatures, locations, directors, music, and more, players assemble films to score points and outshine their rivals.

Across multiple rounds, players must carefully manage their resources, decide when to bid aggressively, and when to hold back. Special events allow players to acquire assets without bidding, adding another layer of strategy and opportunity.
