P-Vine’s limited reissue puts Kashmere Stage Band’s “Out Of Gas But Still Burning” back on a single LP for listeners chasing the band’s original pressings. Music teacher Conrad O. Johnson founded the group in Houston, Texas as an elite performing unit inside the Kashmere High School student band. The band performed from the late 1960s until 1978, and its original LPs ran to 1000 copies or fewer and reached buyers locally and on tour.

The 8 track set opens with “Rhapsody In Blue”, moves through “Kash Registers” and “When I Fall In Love”, and closes on “Angel”. A Japanese obi-strip wraps the sleeve, and P-Vine issues the album under catalog number PLP-7465.
